Cabo With the Whole Crew: A Stress-Free Plan for Big Groups

Last Updated on August 26, 2026

A Cabo trip with a large group becomes much easier when transportation is included in the itinerary from the start.

Before anyone lands, collect three things: every flight number, the full passenger and luggage count, and the schedule for the days that require transportation. That gives our VIP Transportation Los Cabos team the information needed to match arrivals, vehicles, hotels, dinners, events, and departure rides.

Start With One Group Transportation Plan

If everyone lands at the same time, a coordinated airport pickup may be the simplest option.

If guests arrive on different flights, split the group by arrival time instead of making the first guests wait several hours for the last flight. Each smaller group should have one contact person with the reservation details and VIP Transportation Los Cabos contact information.

Send our team the flight list in advance. We monitor arrival information and can connect each pickup to the correct flight.

The same idea works for departure day. Guests leaving at different times may need separate hotel pickups rather than a single ride for the full group.

Pick the Vehicle for the People and the Bags

Passenger count is the starting point. Luggage matters just as much.

Our current VIP Transportation Los Cabos fleet includes:

  • Minivan: up to 5 passengers
  • Suburban: up to 6 passengers
  • Van: up to 8 passengers
  • Limousine: up to 11 passengers
  • Sprinter: up to 15 passengers
  • Luxury Bus: up to 46 passengers

More than one vehicle can be booked for the same group.

For a group of 30, a Luxury Bus may make sense. A group with different hotel destinations or flight times may work better with several vehicles. A group carrying golf clubs, strollers, large suitcases, or event equipment should send those details before booking so our team can review the required space.

Do not choose the vehicle from headcount alone. Confirm the passenger count, luggage count, large items, and assigned vehicle before the trip.

Make SJD Arrival Easy for Everyone

A big group should not be searching for several drivers after clearing customs.

For international arrivals at SJD, guests should fully exit the terminal and follow the official VIP Transportation Los Cabos meeting instructions. Our greeter waits outside with the VIP Transportation Los Cabos sign and connects the group to the assigned vehicle(s).

Give each arrival group the meeting instructions before the flight. Pick one person per vehicle to keep the phone on and communicate with our team if baggage, customs, or a flight delay changes the timing.

That one contact person can save a group chat full of messages at the airport.

Plan Rides for the Rest of the Trip

Airport transportation is only one part of a group itinerary.

A Cabo week may include a welcome dinner, wedding event, golf day, marina departure, restaurant reservation, birthday dinner, nightlife, or a day trip. Trying to arrange several cars at the last minute can split the group and create delays.

Send those plans to our team ahead of time. Include pickup location, destination, preferred pickup time, passenger count, and return plan.

For grocery stops or other requested stops, ask before arrival so the stop can be reviewed as part of the route.

A Real Group Experience

Our guest Franz H. traveled to Los Cabos with a family group of 16 and arranged two limousines with VIP Transportation Los Cabos.

He shared that our greeter and both vehicles were ready when the family came outside the airport. For the return trip, both limousines arrived at the hotel at the same time. He thanked Carly Rojas for coordinating pickups and drop-offs, including a last-minute flight change for one member of the group.

That experience points to the part of group travel that matters most: everyone does not need to have the same schedule. The transportation plan needs to account for the differences.

Keep the Cabo Itinerary Simple

Before the group flies, send VIP Transportation Los Cabos the flight list, passenger and luggage counts, hotel or villa address, planned outings, special equipment, departure flights, and one main contact for each pickup.

Then confirm the vehicle plan and pickup times.

One transportation plan means fewer last-minute decisions for the person organizing the trip and more time for the group to enjoy Cabo together.
