Who is Goleón?

Goleón is the official mascot of VIP Transportation Los Cabos: a plush lion in a green Mexico soccer jersey who rides on board our private airport transfers from SJD to your resort. His name blends gol (goal) and león (lion).

Born from a goal

A soccer idea that stayed for good

Goleón was born in June 2026, as the world's biggest soccer tournament kicked off in Mexico. We made a few plush lions in Mexico's green jersey to cheer on our national team with our guests.

Then something happened we didn't plan: guests hugged him, posed with him, and asked for him by name on their next trip. So Goleón stayed. Today he welcomes travelers on board every one of our vehicles, and he's the most photographed passenger in our fleet.
